Write Your Way to Free One Direction Tickets

If you’re are 21 years old or younger and a fan of One Direction, only 250 words stand between you and the chance to win two luxury skybox tickets for the band’s sold-out show on Friday, Nov. 30.

One set will be given away, thanks to Youth Journalism International and Mohegan Sun.

When One Direction was last at Mohegan Sun, tickets sold out in about 20 minutes.

To enter for a chance to win, e-mail why you should be picked to win two luxury skybox tickets to tickets@youthjournalism.org, along with your name, age, address and phone number.

Put “1D contest entry” in the subject line.

You entry must be received by midnight on Sunday, Nov. 18 to qualify and the winner will be announced on Tuesday, Nov. 20 atwww.youthjournalism.org.

You will need your own transportation to Mohegan Su,. The prize does not include transportation to the concert.

The winning entry will also be published by Youth Journalism International – and the winner will get to write YJI’s official review of the show, too!

Proceeds benefit Connecticut-based Youth Journalism International, which is working to train the next generation of journalists.

Some tickets are available for purchase at the price of $375 each.  Most of the ticket price is tax-deductible.

iTunes Festival Announcement

The boys will be performing at the FREE iTunes Festival on September 20th at the Roundhouse in Camden, London. You can enter now to win tickets, but only if you’re a UK resident. You can go to iTunesFestival.com for more details on how to enter. Check out their message video they posted on Facebook!

Even if you don’t win tickets or can’t make it to the show, don’t worry, because the performances will be streamed LIVE to your desktop, iPod, iPhone, or iPad. Just make sure you go to the App Store and download it!
