The X Factor hopefuls must be quaking in their boots ahead of Saturday’s first live show we imagine, especially the wildcard acts. However, Adam Burridge can rest assured that if all goes tits up at least he’s got friends in high places.
Last night the X Factor star performed at a secret gig in Shoreditch and his pal Louis Tomlinson, of One Direction fame obvs, turned up to show his support.
Burridge narrowly missed out on a spot in Nicole Scherzinger’s category, but some of the boys who did make it into it tagged along to the reality star’s gig last night along with a small selection of his fans.
Louis arrived at the event with his long-term girlfriend Eleanor Calder in tow who, coincidentally, he’s been talking about today.
In an interview with The Sun, the 1D singer admitted that when he first got with the stunning model he texted her mother to reassure her he wasn’t a player. Louis divulged:
“I was worried about my reputation at first. I remember I sent Eleanor’s mum a few text messages saying, ‘Please don’t judge me thinking I’m like the stereotypical boyband type who is going to go around and sleep with everything that moves.
“I was trying to convince her I’m quite a good lad but I didn’t really need to. Her family are really cool actually and very understanding of the situation.”
“It’s important for me to treat a girlfriend with respect. My mum would be horrified if I behaved any differently – and I have sisters, and would hate for them to be treated badly by guys.”
Is he purposely trying to tug at his fans’ heartstrings or does it just come naturally to him?
Soon, visitors to Universal Orlando will become part of an evil army on the ‘Despicable Me Minion Mayhem’ ride, and five very well-known stars are among the first to join the ranks!
The boys of One Direction headed to Orlando recently, where they met the evil genius Gru, along with his three daughters: Margo, Edith, and Agnes. They also got early access to ‘Despicable Me Minion Mayhem,’ where they were transformed into tiny yellow minions that assisted Gru in becoming the greatest evil genius the world has ever seen. Don’t worry, though, he had them transformed back to their human form when they were done (whew!)
Fans of ‘Despicable Me’ will be able to check out ‘Minion Mayhem’ when it opens its doors to the masses on Tuesday, July 2. It’s one experience that you’ll want to check out for sure, and it’s only available at Universal Orlando!
Louis as well as the rest of One Direction were in Canada for their tour, and I have added some new candids of Louis:
I have updated the gallery with missing candid photos from the month of April:
One Direction arrived back in the UK from Sweden yesterday and the kingdom rejoiced! In the middle of all our celebrating though, we noticed this one very important thing; Louis Tomlinson has ever so slightly more facial hair than he had when he left.
At least 1.5mm of growth, we’d say.
Now, this leads us to the ultimate debate – do we prefer him fuzzy-faced or fluff-free?
*Sigh*. Let’s consider all the facts.
It looks like Louis hasn’t actually gone about ‘growing a beard,’ as they say, but merely ‘not had a shave on an overnight flight’ – which means that (contrary to our many comments on some of his hand gestures), Louis Tomlinson’s face-fuzz makes him ALL MAN.
But then on the other hand, when he’s almost free of the face fluff, we can see more of his face (about 1cm² more), which is obviously worth it – and we do like a clean-cut fella every now and again.
Oh, this debate will be raging on in our minds forevermore.
