And the next host of “Saturday Night Live” is … Sofia Vergara!
On the Jonah Hill-hosted March 10 installment of the late-night sketch comedy show, it was revealed that spicy“Modern Family” star Sofia Vergara will take a spin as “SNL” host in the April 7 episode of the show. The Golden Globe- and Emmy-nominated actress plays Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on the hit ABC sitcom and has her hands full with a clothing line and spokesperson gigs for CoverGirl and Pepsi.
The musical guest is One Direction, the British boy band currently invading American shores and hypnotizing teen and tween girls. The band came in third place on the seventh season of the U.K.’s “X Factor.” The band’s debut album comes out March 13, 2012 in the U.S. and will appear on an upcoming episode of Nickelodeon’s “iCarly.”
TWIST hung out with Louis Tomlinson and the rest of One Direction in London!
We knew that One Direction’s Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson have a rather special relationship, but it sounds like their bromance might have to be more of a long-distance affair in the future. Flying the nest, apparently Harry will be leaving their shared flat to move into a swanky new bachelor pad all on his own.
We had heard that Louis and Harry were thinking of buying the £3million flat that they both share, but now it sounds like the Larry Stylinson dream might be over altogether, with Harry moving out of their flat into his own place.
Apparently Harry has been househunting for the past few months, and according to the Sun he’s now bought a flat in East London for a whopping £575,000.
A source told the Sun: “He’s made loads of money and has been encouraged to invest in it – rather than splash out on things.”
“He also knows the flat will impress girls. It’s pretty special.”
Well count us impressed. We wouldn’t mind testing out the spare room, especially if it means sharing it with Louis.
The One direction boys currently all live in the same building in North London, but Harry and Louis are the only ones sharing a place.
As perfect as we imagine this being, it might not be all it’s cracked up to be after all, with Louis telling the Sun that the worst thing about living with Harry is the “constant stream of women coming through the door. It’s relentless”
Presumably Louis isn’t so keen on making chit-chat over his cornflakes in the morning.
What do you guys think? Good choice or would you rather have him stay with Louis and the rest of the boys?
Yesterday Louis, Harry, Liam, and Niall attended the Kiss 108 studios in Boston, Massachusetts. They did a live Ustream performance and interview, so if you missed it, check it out below! I also added photos to the gallery of their appearance and leaving the studios. Enjoy!

Awesome news, Directioners! One Direction are already pretty big, and now they may get even bigger — say, 30 feet tall. Rumor has it a One Direction movie may be happening!
Reports say that the band was in talks with Simon Cowell about a television show, but that a full-blown film may happen instead. Harry Styles said they’ve even had some pitches already. “We have had a few offers,” Styles revealed. “We like the idea of a documentary-style one.” So do we!
The adorable Brits will perform at this month’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. They’re currently on tour with Big Time Rush and enjoying the Directioner mania that comes with their appearances.
‘What Makes You Beautiful’ recently captured the prestigious Best British Single title at the 2012 BRIT Awards, and it debuted at No. 28 in its first week of U.S. release, the highest charting debut by a U.K. artist on the Hot 100 in 14 years. The group will also appear on an episode of ‘iCarly‘ later this year in both performance and acting segments.
This sounds like such an awesome idea! I think a documentary would be cool to see! Also rumors saying that they may get their own show on Nickelodeon. I think a movie would be better as it’s not so time-committing for the boys with already such a big schedule they have.
Former X Factor contestants One Direction are to perform at the upcoming Nickelodeon’s 25th Annual Kids’ Choice Awards.
The boys – Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan – are scheduled to sing their single “What Makes Beautiful” on the show.
The song made a notable mark on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, entering the chart at Number 28, making it the highest debut for any U.K. act since Jimmy Ray hit Number 26 fourteen years ago.
A week later, The Wanted – Jay Mcguiness, Tom Parker, Max George, Nathan Sykes and Siva Kaneswaran – broke the record by entering at Number 5.
The 2012 Kids’ Choice Awards will be presented by Will Smith live from the University of Southern California’s Galen Center in Los Angeles, on March 31. (For UK Viewers: The show will air on 1st April at 5:30pm)
“One Direction is performing on the Kids’ Choice Awards for the first time and it’s going to be scream-worthy,” said Paula Kaplan, Executive Producer of the Kids’ Choice Awards.
“While on tour with Big Time Rush, we have seen their popularity explode, and we are excited to introduce them to our audience during the month of March with exclusive access to the guys leading up to our biggest event of the year.”
One Direction will release their album “Up All Night” in the US on March 13, 2012
